This is a comprehensive healthcare dataset from a major private hospital system in the Democratic Republic of Congo, covering urban populations in Kinshasa and Lubumbashi. The database contains electronic health records for over 300,000 patients from 2013 to present, with 170,000+ annual encounters across inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and maternal/child health services.
The dataset offers unique representation of Central African populations, including diverse Congolese ethnic groups ranging from affluent urban communities to underserved patients receiving charitable cardiac surgery.
