Spanning over 15 years (2009-present), this comprehensive dataset includes patient demographics, clinical encounters, diagnoses, procedures, laboratory results, medications, imaging, and specialty program data covering cardiac care, mental health, HIV care, and post-COVID recovery.

All data is rigorously de-identified to protect patient privacy while enabling groundbreaking research through the Integrated Health Informatics Datalab (IHID), with opportunities for external data linkage to expand research possibilities.

DATASUS serves Brazil's population of over 210 million people, and through our partner, we now offer access to a rich subset of this data, covering 8 million patients. This dataset is particularly valuable because it includes both outpatient and hospital records, allowing researchers to follow complete patient journeys across the healthcare system.
